Ingredients
  • 12 Oz of Rigatoni
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast (cut into bite size pieces)
  • 2 tbsp Paprika
  • 2 tbsp Garlic (Herb Seasoning)
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
  • 1/3 cup Sundried Tomatoes Packed in Oil
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Chicken Stock
Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prep the Chickenmaking of chicken pasta
    1. Start by seasoning your chicken. For the breasts or thighs cut them nicely, and the tenders all must be coated with paprika, garlic and herb seasoning and slightly with chicken bouillon powder.
    2. This will make your hen now not simplest tasty but will even make it soft and complete of flavor.
  2. Step 2: Cook the Chicken
    1. In a hot, shallow Dutch oven or skillet, heat some olive oil. Once the oil is shimmering, add the seasoned chicken in a single layer.
    2. Let it sear until it develops a nice, golden-brown color. Remember, you’re now not trying to cook it all of the manner thru this factor, simply get a great sear on it.
    3. Once done, take away the chicken and set it apart.
  3. Step 3: Sauté the Garlic and Tomatoes
    1. Add a bit more olive oil to the same skillet. Toss in the minced garlic and fresh tomatoes.
    2. Stir until the garlic is fragrant and the tomatoes start to break down slightly.
    3. For more taste, add a pinch of basil and a dash of warm pepper flakes.
  4. Step 4: Make the Sauce
    1. Pour in the cream and chicken stock (or water mixed with chicken bouillon). Stir in some Italian seasoning and the sun-dried tomatoes.
    2. Bring the mixture to a simmer, permitting it to lessen slightly. The sauce has to start to thicken because it simmers.
  5. Step 5: Cook the Pastamarry me chicken pasta
    1. While the sauce is cooking you have to carry a large pot of salted water to boil and cook dinner for your pasta. Al dente is good, although slightly less than al dente will be cooked while the sauce is introduced.
    2. After that, remove the pasta from the boiling pot but retain a little bit of the hot water you used in cooking the pasta.
  6. Step 6: Combine Everything
    1. Put the seared chicken plus the collected juices back into the reducing saucepan simmering with the sauce. Allow the chicken to finish cooking with the sauce, in effect, to marinate it with the flavors.
    2. Then, turn the cooked pasta into the skillet in which you prepared your sauce and add a portion of the starchy pasta water to allow the sauce to stick to the pasta. Mix all together and coat the pasta with the creamy sauce.
  7. Step 7: Serve and Enjoy

Turn off the heat and sprinkle fresh basil over the pasta. Let it sit for a moment to thicken. Serve hot, with a piece of chicken and a generous helping of pasta on each plate. This dish is best enjoyed immediately, with a glass of your favorite drink.
